DIGAuction.com had a lot of bids on Silver Age CGC-certified comics in last week’s Saturday Comic Auction #17, ending July 14, 2018. Amazing Spider-Man #18 CGC 7.5 fetched $295, the first appearance of the Owl in Daredevil #3 CGC 8.5 ended at $320, Amazing Spider-Man #24 CGC 9.0 sold for $410, and the third appearance of the Green Goblin in Amazing Spider-Man #23 CGC 9.0 sold for $815 after an impressive 112 bids.
Saturday Comic Auction #18 is open for bidding until July 21, 2018. Bid on the first appearance of Carnage in Amazing Spider-Man #361 CGC 9.6 and the red holo-grafx foil cover of Venom: Lethal Protector #1 CGC 9.8. Raw Silver and Bronze comics stand out in this auction, with titles like Fantastic Four #3, X-Men #94, Amazing Spider-Man #121, Thor #151, and Sub-Mariner #1. There are many titles to bid on to fill out collections including Action Comics, Batman, Captain America, Cloak and Dagger, Fear, Incredible Hulk, John Carter: Warlord of Mars, Metal Men, Rocky Horror Picture Show, Super Powers, Superman’s Pal Jimmy Olsen, and Tales of Suspense.
Saturday Comic Auction #19 will be available for preview soon and open for bidding from July 21-28. This auction features the first appearances of The Devastator, Durok the Demolisher, Gamora, Harley Quinn, KISS, Predator and more as well as the Death of Spider-Man, the origin of Warlock and Hercules vs Thor.
