Quantcast

A few of Marvel’s intimidating tough guys lead Heritage’s current Sunday Internet Comics, Animation & Art Auction. The sale, which closes on September 16, 2018, features original art from The Incredible Hulk #375 and Venom #165.

The Incredible Hulk #375 page 18 original art by Dale Keown and Bob McLeod depicts the Hulk battling the Super Skrull from Tarnax IV. The pages shows the villain, created by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby, using the power of invisibility to land a sucker-punch on the Hulk. Consigned from the Ethan Roberts Estate Collection, the 10” x 15-1/2” page is done in ink over graphite on Bristol board.

Before the Venom movie hits theaters, now is the time to capitalize on collecting the character. Venom is a sentient alien symbiote with a liquid-like form that attaches to a host for survival and can mimic shapes and extrude tendrils. This Venom #165 page 12 original art by Mark Bagley and Scott Hanna focuses on the character’s intimidating size and frightening face. The ink over graphite on Bristol board art measures 10-1/2” x 15-1/2”.

These pages will be part of the 806 lots of comic books, original art, and memorabilia offered this week. Bidding opens on September 16 at 6 PM CT on ha.com.
