ComicConnect kicked off their Event Auction #37 recently and one of their founders, Vincent Zurzolo, told Scoop that, “The marketplace for Silver Age comics is spiking once again with some keys issues nearing some Golden Age keys in value and importance in a collectible portfolio.”

Just a few of the Silver Age keys going under the hammer include Adventure Comics #247 CGC 6.5, four copies of Amazing Fantasy #15 CGC 9.4 R, 7.5, 5.5, and 4.0, Amazing Spider-Man #13 CGC 9.6, Batman #121 CGC 7.5, Daredevil #7 CBCS 9.4, Fantastic Four #1 CGC 5.5, #14 CGC 9.6, and #48 CGC 9.8, Incredible Hulk #1 CGC 7.5, Tales of Suspense #44 CGC 9.8, and several copies of X-Men #1.

“I’ve been doing this over 30 years and it’s still remarkable to watch these comics multiply their values in a relatively short period of time,” Zurzolo said. “Every auction brings scores of new investors to the marketplace, so I encourage anyone on the fence to make their move and pick up at least one investment key for their portfolio.”

The auction end-dates are as follows:

Session 1 (original comic art and memorabilia) December 10, 2018
Session 2 (Walking Dead Collection: original art and comics) December 11
Session 3 (Action Comics - Famous Funnies) December 12
Session 4 (Fantastic Four - New Mutants) December 13
Session 5 (New Mutants Annual - Zoot) December 14
