eMoviePoster’s December Major Auction is now live, containing over 1,300 items from all over the world, representing each decade of film, in different sizes. The auction is being run in four parts, organized by type of material.

Part I of 332 linen-backed one-sheets and larger, ends on Sunday, December 9. Part II with 347 linen-backed posters of all kinds, closes on Tuesday, December 11. Part III of all rolled posters, closes on Thursday, December 13. Part IV of items that ship in flat packages opens on Sunday, December 9.

Some of the best items in Part I and Part II are Fighting Fool three-sheet, Star Wars style C international one-sheet, Race style B one-sheet, 2001: A Space Odyssey Cinerama subway poster, No Way Out one-sheet, Life of Buffalo Bill one-sheet, Atom Man vs. Superman chapter 8 one-sheet, The Time Machine one-sheet, Thunderball one-sheet, Dragstrip Riot one-sheet, My Darling Clementine one-sheet, Cover Girl one-sheet, I Want You for the Navy WWI poster, Nanook of the North Russian poster, Bal Tabarin French poster, Alexander Crystal-Seer magic poster, Gone with the Wind French one-panel, Prince and the Showgirl Australian daybill, and Hard Day’s Night British quad.

Three surprising results from the auction that closed on December 4 were a French Le Samourai eight-panel for $1,212, Derby Day radio window card for $752, and French Thunderball one-panel for $726.
