Key issues to keep an eye on as this auction closes are the death of Lady Dorma, the first appearance of Surtur, and the third appearance of Deathstroke the Terminator. Saturday Comic Auction #40 is available for preview the Wednesday before bidding begins at 12 PM and bidding will take place on December 15-22. This auction features two Golden Age comics Terry and the Pirates Bust Brown Shoe giveaway and Sad Sack Goes Home. Silver Age comics will include Action Comics, Blackhawk, Fantasy Masterpieces, Henry Brewster, and Tales Calculated to Drive You Bats. The majority of this auction is comprised of Bronze Age titles such as Arrgh!, Black Goliath, Flash, Tales of the Ghost Castle, Incredible Hulk, Ms. Marvel, and many more. The Modern Age titles selected include Adventures of Superman, Detective Comics, Flaming Carrot Comics, as well as a few high grade CGC-certified comics.
