Comic Connect’s Event Auction #38 begins Monday, February 18, 2019 at 12 PM ET.

The complete Centaur collection is the big headliner in the auction,” said Vincent Zurzolo, COO of ComicConnect. “Every incredibly rare and highly sought-after comic from the publisher will be in this auction. This is the first time the entire set has ever been brought to market.”  

Other Golden Age highlights include Captain America #1 7.0, three copies of Superman #1, two copies of Batman #1, More Fun #73 3.0, Action Comics #7 2.5 and #23 5.0, Wonder Woman #1 6.0, Adventure #40 5.5, Pep #22 5.0 and Detective #28 8.5, #33 3.0, #35 4.0, #38 6.0, and #40 3.0.

Silver Age keys include Showcase #4 7.5, Daredevil #1 9.4, copies of Amazing Fantasy #15, Amazing Spider-Man #1 6.0, Fantastic Four #1 8.0, Hulk #1 9.8 (R), Journey into Mystery #83 9.2 (R), and X-Men #1 6.5.

Original art goodies include the cover to Green Lantern #110 by Mike Grell, Barry Windsor-Smith Conan #1 art, Jack Kirby’s Thor in Journey into Mystery #84 and a Captain America splash in Marvel Treasury Special #1, Russ Manning Tarzan art, a painted preliminary cover with Swamp Thing by Bernie Wrightson, and a Magneto splash by Dave Cockrum from X-Men #150. Plus, the complete color guides to X-Men #141 and 142: Days of Future Past, and Strange Tales #155.
