In their next Sunday Internet Comics, Animation & Art Auction, Heritage is offering Fantastic Four #5 and Daredevil #1. These two key first appearances from Marvel’s Silver Age introductions will be sold on Sunday, February 17, 2019.

With the origin and first appearance of Doctor Doom, Fantastic Four #5 CGC 4.5 is considered the second most valuable issue of the series. Along with the supervillain’s introduction, the issue features art and cover by Jack Kirby, a full-page ad for Incredible Hulk #1, and a letter from artist Roy Thomas. This comic is listed at No. 20 on Overstreet’s “Top 50 Silver Age Comics” list.

Daredevil #1 CGC 6.5 tells the origin and first appearance of Daredevil/Matt Murdock, the lawyer and crimefighter with no fear. It also introduces Foggy Nelson, Murdock’s best friend and law partner, and Karen Page, his longtime love interest. Depicting art by Bill Everett and cover by Kirby and Everett, it is tied for No. 33 on Overstreet’s list of “Top 50 Silver Age Comics.”
