Starting on Thursday, April 18 and running through Sunday, April 28, 2019, Gary Dolgoff Comics will have an eBay auction for the rare “Superhombre” logo variant of Superman #409. The issue is graded CGC 9.8, making it the highest graded copy in existence – with only eight other lower graded copies in the CGC census.

Believed to have been created by DC as a way to maintain their trademark of the “Superhombre” logo, the quantity of books printed with this variant is unknown. According to Gary Dolgoff Comics, more details and history on the variant can be found at recalledcomics.com.
