Hake’s Auctions has opened their online-exclusive comics auction, featuring over 300 Golden to Modern Age CGC-graded comics. Loads of first appearances, keys, and first issues are now open for bids, all starting at just $1. The auction is running through Thursday, September 26, 2019.

One of the biggest highlights is Amazing Fantasy #15 CGC 1.0 housing Spider-Man’s first appearance, as well as the debuts of Aunt May and Uncle Ben. This key issue features story by Stan Lee, art by Steve Ditko, and cover by Jack Kirby.

Batman #121 CGC 2.5 Restored, contains the origin and first appearance of Mr. Freeze (originally as Mr. Zero). With stories by Bill Finger and Dave Wood, it has a cover by Curt Swan and Stan Kaye, and art by Sheldon Moldoff and Charles Paris.

The popular antihero Deadpool makes his first appearance in New Mutants #98 CGC 8.5, which also includes Gideon and Copycat (Vanessa Carlysle) as Domino. This key Modern Age book has story, cover, and art by Rob Liefeld, and story by Fabien Nicieza.

DC Comics Presents #26 CGC 8.5 gives the first appearance of the New Teen Titans in a preview by Marv Wolfman and George Pérez.

Venom (Eddie Brock) is introduced in Amazing Spider-Man #300 CGC 9.4, which also has a Thing appearance, with David Michelinie story and Todd McFarlane cover and art.

Firestorm debuts in Firestorm #1 CGC 9.6, along with a Clark Kent cameo. It has a story by Gerry Conway, with cover by Al Milgrom, and art by Milgrom, Klaus Janson, and Joe Rubenstein.

Marvel Feature #1 CGC 9.0 tells the origin and first appearance of the Defenders, with the “death” of Yandroth and Baron Mordo appears in a Doctor Strange backup story.

Mary Marvel Comics #1 CGC 5.0 houses the origin of Georgia Sivana, with an Otto Binder story and Jack Binder cover.

Captain America books include #101 CGC 7.5 (Red Skull, Nick Fury appearances), #111 CGC 8.5 (“death” of Steve Rogers identity), and #112 CGC 9.2 (Captain America’s career retold).

There’s a trio of Superman’s Girlfriend Lois Lane issues with Otto Binder stories, including #3 CGC 5.5, #4 CGC 4.5, and #5 CGC 6.5.

Outside of superhero books, they are selling Archie Comics #43 CGC 6.5, Crown Comics #1 CGC 5.5, Dudley Do-Right #1 CGC 9.4, Four Color #428 CGC 9.2, Katy Keene Pin Up Parade #6 CGC 8.5, Mighty Mouse Comics #1 CGC 4.5 Restored, Star Wars #1 CGC 9.0, Suzie Comics #64 CGC 6.5, Terry-Toons Comics #7 CGC 1.8, Uncle Scrooge #36 CGC 8.0, and Weird Science-Fantasy #23 CGC 5.5.

There’s a selection of issues from Amazing Spider-Man, Batman, Captain Marvel, Daredevil, Fantastic Four, Green Lantern, More Fun Comics, and Strange Tales.
