While excitement for the current ComicLink January Focused Auction is far from over, the excitement surrounding their upcoming February/March Featured Auction has only just begun. This week, an Amazing Fantasy #15 CGC 8.5 has been added to the growing yet already impressive ComicLink February/March Featured Auction Preview. This issue has become the holy grail of Silver Age keys and in the condition assigned, is very scarce, just 7 in the world have ever been assigned the 8.5 designation, and most of them are locked away in some of the best private collections in the world. The example in the ComicLink auction has been with one owner since 1985 when the consignor purchased it directly from the original owner. It was graded by CGC back in 2001, the second year of business for the well respected third party grading company. According to Josh Nathanson, President of ComicLink, "This example of Amazing Fantasy #15 is a beauty. I don't remember ever seeing a brighter example with a deeper color strike than this. It is superior in that regard, and it is most definitely a high end 8.5, conservatively graded by CGC."

ComicLink is now taking other seller consignments of primarily Golden, Silver, and Bronze Age comic books, and original comic art for the February/March Featured Auction. Like prior ComicLink Featured Auctions, this one is sure to be another highly trafficked blockbuster. If you are interested in participating as a seller, simply email your prospective auction list to buysell@comiclink.com or call Josh Nathanson or Douglas Gillock at (718) 246-0300, for a prompt response. The earlier you contact them regarding the February/March Featured Auction, the sooner they can reserve your slots and feature your items within that auction preview. If you are new to ComicLink, we also suggest you explore buying and selling on the Comic Book Exchange where there are over 13,000 vintage CGC-certified comic books available, and the Comic Art Exchange where there is a wide selection of comic book art and frequent updates. Registered sellers can list items in these sections at any time, and record breaking prices are commonly realized.
