Are you living in the Boston area and looking for some geeky family fun? You're in luck, the Boston Comic Con is just around the corner on August 12-14, 2016. It will be held at the Seaport World Trade Center at 200 Seaport Boulevard, Boston, MA.

A full schedule of events and special guests attending will be revealed closer to the con. So far special media guests attending are William Shatner and Karl Urban (Star Trek), Jenna Coleman, Karen Gillan, and John Barrowman (Doctor Who), Ben McKenzie (Gotham), Caity Lotz and Ciara Renée (Legends of Tomorrow), Robbie Amell (The Flash), Elizabeth Henstridge (Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.), and Vic Mignogna (Star Trek Continues).

Artist guests attending are Frank Miller (The Dark Knight Returns), Arthur Adams (X-Men: Asgardian Wars), Rafael Albuquerque (Blue Beetle), Mike Allred (Madman), Brian Azzarello (Joker), Mark Brooks (Deadpool & Cable Omnibus), John Cassaday (The Planetary Omnibus), Greg Capullo (X-Force), Amanda Conner (Harley Quinn), Terry Dodson (Uncanny X-Men) and Adam Hughes (Catwoman).

Don't miss out on the Boston Comic Con Night at Fenway Park, Film Festival, Star Trek 50th Anniversary Features, Drink and Draw, art auction, and costume contest. Not to mention the Harbor Cruise and Party (21 and up), and the Boston Comic Con After Party. Friday is also Family Friday, where children 10 and under get in for free and can enjoy coloring contests, face painting, a balloonist, a caricaturist, superhero meet and greet, and Jedi Training activities.

The con is running Friday 12 PM to 8 PM, Saturday 10 AM to 7 PM, and Sunday 10 AM to 6 PM. One-day passes are $30 for Friday (10 and under free), $45 for Saturday (5 and under free), and $40 for Sunday (5 and under free). Three-day passes are $90 and a variety of VIP passes are currently available.
