Gear up, Florida, the Pensacola Comic Convention is headed your way on August 20-21, 2016, located at their new location, the Pensacola Interstate Fair off 6655 Mobile Highway in Pensacola, Florida. It's time for some family fun centered around all things pop culture, gaming, science fiction, and more!
Pensacola Comic Con is hosting an exciting array of special guests, including Ciara Hanna (Power Rangers Megaforce), Johnny Yong Bosch (Power Rangers), Tim Russ (Star Trek: Voyager), Larry Nemecek (Star Trek), Gary Schwartz (Batman Returns), Robert LaSardo (Death Race), Zach Galligan (Gremlins), Dave Fennoy, Justin Kucsulain, Michael Mundy, and Jeremy Palko (The Walking Dead), Adrian Paul (Highlander), William Katt (Carrie), Alex Vincent (Child's Play), Eugene A. Clark (Land of the Dead), David Della Rocco (The Boondock Saints), Erika Ervin (American Horror Story), Corbin Bernsen (Psych), Michael Beck (Xanadu), and Chuck Wagner (Automan). Not to mention NBA legend Dennis Rodman, wresting icons Jerry Stubbs, Robert Fuller, Bullet Bob Armstrong and Gulf South Wrestling, and nerdcore rock band Shadow Clone.
Take part in celebrity meet and greets, gaming, tournaments, and much more. Show off your costume skills at the Pensacola Costume Contest for a chance to win cash prizes! Or if you're brave enough, join the Tennessee Wraith Chasers (Ghost Asylum) as they perform a live investigation at the Victorian Inn. Dance the night away at the Villain and Heroes Ball or head over to The Sword Experience to be taught expert fighting skills by Highlander's Adrian Paul. The kid zone will offer kid friendly activities such as face painting, arts and crafts, ballooning, and a kids costume contest.
The con is running Saturday from 10 AM to 6 PM with offsite parties starting at 9 PM, and Sunday from 10 AM to 6 PM. One day passes are $15 presale/$20 box office for Saturday, and $30 presale/$40 box office for Sunday. A child's pass is $10 box office with children 7 and under admitted free. VIP passes are also available and offer early admission to the con on both days.
