The next Comic Art Con will be held on Sunday, September 25, 2016 at the Empire Meadowlands Hotel in Secaucus, NJ. In its 8th year, Comic Art Con will once again take place in the hotel's 5,000 square foot main ballroom. It will have 45 tables jam packed with original comic book art, and only art, with no comic books. Whether you are a big time collector or just getting your feet wet Comic Art Con is a great event for original art.

Vendors include Anthony Snyder, Bechara Maalouf, Will Gabri-EL, Frank Giella, Hans Kosenkranius, Jim Warden, Rich Donnelly, Albert Moy, Brad the Savage, Scott Eder, Dan Jerome, Zaddick Longenbach, ComicLink, ComicConnect, Gene Park, Hake's Americana & Collectibles, Ben Bressel, Ankur Jetley, Rich Cirillo, Pedigree Comics, and Terry Holtz.

Robert Wayne Dennis of Comic Art Restoration Services will again be setting up. Dennis is an expert in the area of comic art restoration, and text and logo stat reproduction, and has years of experience in stat reproduction, cleaning, tape removal, tear seals, glue residue removal, and image reconstruction. Those with any questions in advance of the show can call him at (903) 513-1326 or email him at agraphicstateofmind@gmail.com. Robert can quote a price on the spot and he will be accepting comic art in person at the show.

The guest creator is Keith Giffen, best known as the co-creator of Rocket Raccoon and his long runs illustrating and later writing the Legion of Super-Heroes. Giffen was also the breakdown artist on DC’s 52 and Countdown to Final Crisis. His contributions to the comic book industry as both a writer and artist cannot be overstated. Giffen will be at Comic Art Con to talk to fans and sign autographs, (but he will not be drawing). Don’t miss this rare opportunity to meet a legend.

Admission is only $10 and children get in for no additional charge. The show hours are 10 AM to 4 PM, so be sure to arrive early and plan on spending the day. Parking is free.

A few vendor tables are available. They get contacted in the days and weeks before every event requesting tables but unfortunately they rarely have them as there is never any turnover from our existing vendors. They are now offering a handful of tables in the lobby-staging area. These tables are outside the main ballroom and adjacent to where you check in. The cost is $150 and will be sold on a first come first serve basis with immediate payment required.
