Maryland are you ready for an out of this world convention, centered around all things sci-fi, fantasy, and horror? Farpoint is headed your way on February 17-19, 2017 held at the Radisson Hotel North Baltimore, located on 2004 Greenspring Drive in Timonium, Maryland.

This incredible convention will be hosting an array of celebrity guests, including Nicholas Meyer (Star Trek), Sam Witwer (Once Upon A Time), Enver Gjokaj (Dollhouse), Kathleen David and Peter David (No Strings Attached), Keith deCandido (Without a License), Robert Greenberger (Star Trek: The Complete Unauthorized History), Cheralyn Lambeth and David Mack (Star Trek Destiny), Howard Weinstein (The Return of the Worthy), Steven H. Wilson (Taken Liberty), Lance Woods (SuperHuman Times), as well as podcast personalities from Castwave Studios and SciFi Diner Podcast. Additional guests will be added as the convention draws closer.

Start your convention off right! Farpoint is throwing an epic welcome party/opening ceremony on Friday night. Not only will there be charity auctions held, but a comedy performance by Prometheus Radio Theater. Throughout the convention, there will also be performances by the Boogie Knights, The Chromatics, Insane Ian, Luna-C, and The Cosmic Game Show with Diane Sahar. Farpoint will also include various children/youth activities, a masquerade and costume contest, autograph and photo opportunities, an art show, dealers room and gaming oasis, and much more. The con will be open through the weekend beginning on Friday at 12 PM to Sunday at 4 PM. One-day memberships are $10 for Friday, $55 ($10 after 7 PM) for Saturday, and $40 for Sunday. A full weekend membership is $80, but for children 6-12 it is $25, and for children under 5 it is free.
