Calling all comic aficionados in the Michigan area! The Great Lakes Comic-Con (GLCC) is headed your way on February 24-25, 2017, located at the Macomb Community College on 14500 East 12 Mile Road in Warren, Michigan.

Exciting guests attending this year’s con include Greg Land (Uncanny X-Men), Angel Medina (Spawn), Keith Pollard (The Mighty Thor), Tom Cook (Smurfs), Thomas Zahler (My Little Pony), Ryan Stegman (Uncanny Avengers), Tony Isabella (Hawkman), Arvell Jones (Iron Fist), William Messner-Loebs (The Flash), Jason Moore (Evil Ernie), Lydia Grabner (She and I), Randy Zimmerman (War of the Worlds), Dirk Manning (Nightmare World), Seth Damoose (Xenoholics), and Dan Dougherty (Beardo). The 501st Great Lakes Garrison and Rebel Base, R2-D2 Builders Club, and the Great Lakes Ghostbuster Colation will also be there. More names will be added to the list as the convention draws closer.

While GLCC has yet to reveal a full program guide, they have teased fans with a few of the events they will be hosting, including face painting, Squirrel's creations, ballon sculpting, a free play arcade, and a magic tournament hosted by Game Players. Not to mention Kaladesh, Conspiracy, Build a Deck, and free board gaming with The Grand Gaming Academy. This year’s convention will also feature the annual Cosplay Competition for both children and adults.

The con is running Friday 5 PM to 9 PM and Saturday 10 AM to 6 PM. One-day passes are $6 for either Friday or Saturday, while a two-day pass is $10. Additional ticket options are available, including purchasing the GLCC Variant Comic Book along with your ticket.
