Seattle residents are you ready for a weekend overflowing with pop culture madness! Emerald City Comicon (ECCC) is headed your way on March 2-5, 2017; located at the Washington State Convention Center on 800 Convention Place in Seattle, Washington.
Special media guests attending include Anna Silk (Lost Girl), Bonnie Wright (Harry Potter), Rob Paulsen, Tress MacNeille, and Jess Harnell (voice actors Animaniacs), Jim Cummings (voice actor Winnie the Pooh), John DiMaggio (voice actor Futurama), Jon Bernthal (Daredevil), Maurice LaMarche (voice actor Pinky and the Brain), Michael Rooker and Sean Gunn (Guardians of the Galaxy), Shannon Purser and Millie Bobby Brown (Stranger Things), Peter Mayhew (Star Wars), Robert Englund (Nightmare on Elm Street), Stan Lee (The Avengers), and Troy Baker (voice actor Bioshock Infinite).

The full panel schedule for ECCC will be uploaded to their website by the end of January. In anticipation of this exciting convention, they have shared a few events to whet fans appetites. Including the Cosplay Competition which marks the first stop in ReedPOP’s 2017 Global Championships of Cosplay. In conjunction with ReedPOP, ECCC will be live-streamed to comic shops across the country as part of Coast to Coast Comic Con. Additional events include the designated kids zone in Family HQ, a state of the art gaming area, and Schoolism workshops.
The con is running Thursday 2 PM to 7 PM, Friday 10 AM to 7 PM, Saturday 10 AM to 7 PM, and Sunday 10 AM to 5 PM. One-day passes are $20 for Thursday, $40 for Friday, and $40 for Sunday. Unfortunately, tickets for Saturday and four-day passes are sold out.
