Get ready Louisiana, a two-day family friendly event is headed your way on April 22-23, 2017. Louisiana Comic Con: SBC is being held at the Hirsch Memorial Coliseum/State Fair of Louisiana Fairgrounds on 3701 Hudson Avenue in Shreveport, Louisiana.

Guests attending include Jason Mewes (Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back), Seth Gilliam (The Walking Dead), Johnny Yong Bosch, Karan Ashley, and David Fielding (Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers), Christopher Sabat and Sean Schemmel (Dragon Ball Z), David Della Rocco (The Boondock Saints), Vernon Wells (The Road Warrior), Rochelle Davis (The Crow), Bob Elmore (Pirates of the Caribbean), Ted Dibiase (pro wrestler), James O’Barr (The Crow: City of Angels), Bob McLeod (New Mutants), Arthur Suydam (Batman), Tom Cook (He-Man and the Masters of the Universe), and The Cowabunga Factory. In addition, their are cosplayers Cami Roebuck, Haiden Hazard, Elle Graves, along with Ecto Nola and Drews Delorean.

While Louisiana Comic Con has offered a teaser for their guest list, they have chosen to remain tight-lipped on the convention schedule. However, the convention will be bringing together a diverse list of vendors, artists, and fan groups. As the con draws closer more information will be added to their website and Facebook page.

The con is running Saturday 10 AM to 6 PM and Sunday 10 AM to 5 PM. One-day passes are $20 for both Saturday and Sunday, while a full weekend pass is $30. Children 2-8 years old are $5 per day, with children under 2 are admitted for free.
