Get ready Kansas City, the countdown to a family-friendly weekend of fun has begun! Planet Comicon is heading your way on April 28-30, 2017, located at Bartle Hall on 301 West 13th Street in Kansas City, Missouri.

Planet Comicon will also feature a GoComics Creator Showcase, in addition to a Cosplay Competition and Masquerade Party. The Planet Entertainment Zone includes interactive exhibits, performances, demonstrations, sci-fi speed dating, and a cosplay-oriented Makers Space. On Friday, the fan fun continues outside the convention hall with a Planet Party in Barney Allis Plaza. This party will feature live music, dancing, cosplay, and a wrestling showdown! There will also be a tabletop gaming station, kid zone, photo and autograph opportunities, and plenty of exciting panels.

The con is running Friday 12 PM to 7 PM, Saturday 10 AM to 7 PM, and Sunday 10 AM to 5 PM. One-day passes for adults are $24 for Friday, $38 for Saturday and $30 for Sunday. While one-day passes for children (8-12) are $8 for Friday, $15 for Saturday and $10 for Sunday. A full weekend pass is available for $65 (adults) and $25 (children), and children 7 and under are admitted for free.
