Issuing a call to all Buffy, Angel, Firefly, Dollhouse, and Doctor Horrible fans! The 2017 edition of Whedon Con is coming up soon on May 19-21, 2017. The convention will be held at the Warner Center Marriott, 21850 Oxnard Street, Los Angeles, CA.

The 2017 guest of honor is David Fury (writer-producer – Buffy The Vampire Slayer, Angel). Whedon-verse guests are Nicholas Brendon (Xander – Buffy), Andrew Ferchland (the Anointed One – Buffy), Christos Gage (comics writer – Angel & Faith, Buffy), Harry Groener (the Mayor – Buffy), Dagney Kerr (Kathy Newman – Buffy), Miracle Laurie (Mellie/November – Dollhouse), James Leary (Clem – Buffy), Tim Minear (writer-producer – Firefly, Angel, Dollhouse), Damion Poitier (monster characters – Firefly, Angel, Dollhouse), Robia Lamorte Scott (Jenny Calendar – Buffy), Armin Shimerman (Principal Snyder – Buffy), and Camden Toy (Gentleman, Gnarl, Uber Vamp – Buffy).

Additional guests are Gigi Edgley (Farscape), Ben Paddon (comedian-writer-actor) as the master of ceremonies, and Thomas Parham (writer-professor – JAG).

There will be a blood drive, charity auction, GeekFest Film Festival, panels, workshops, and WhedonKnit Nights.

Adult three-day admission is $60, Friday is $30, Saturday is $45, and Sunday is 35. Youth three-day admission is $40, Friday is $15, Saturday is $30, and Sunday is $30.

The convention runs Friday 2 PM to 7 PM, Saturday 10 AM to 7 PM, and Sunday 10 AM to 6 PM, plus after hours events.
