Calling all comic fans in the Virginia area, are you ready for a weekend dedicated to all things pop culture? Well get ready, Tidewater Comicon is headed your way on May 13-14, located at The Virginia Beach Convention Center on 1000 19th Street in Virginia Beach, Virginia.

In addition the the extensive guest list, Tidewater Comicon is hosting a variety of exciting events! Including a comic book trivia contest, cosplay contest, superhero movie trailer contest, drink and draw, art auction, tug of war, cornhole challenge, and shopping spree. A few days after the convention, on May 21, Tidewater will host a 3D screening of Ant-Man at the Virginia Aquarium!

The con is running Saturday 10 AM to 6 PM and Sunday 10 AM to 5 PM. One-day passes are $20 for both Saturday and Sunday. A two-day pass is available for $30, while children 12 and under are admitted for free.
