Get ready Floridians, MegaCon is rapidly approaching on May 25-29, 2017. The convention is taking place at the Orange County Convention Center on 9400 Universal Boulevard in Orlando, Florida.

Throughout the convention there will be events geared towards fans of comics, sci-fi, horror, anime, gaming, and everything in between. Geico will once again present an adult costume contest as well as one for children. This year’s show will also feature a new cosplay photo park to allow fans and cosplayers to get a picture perfect shot. Enjoy The Rocky Horror Picture Show experience, autograph and photo sessions, a tattoo pavilion, a Halo Drop Pod experience, a Pokemon tournament, a retro video game lounge, and a celebration for Buffy the Vampire Slayer’s 20th anniversary. No matter your fandom, there is something for everyone at MegaCon.
The con is running Thursday 4 PM to 9 PM, Friday 10 AM to 7 PM, Saturday 10 AM to 7 PM, and Sunday 10 AM to 5 PM. One-day passes are $20 for Thursday, $35 for Friday, $50 for Saturday, and $35 for Sunday. A deluxe four-day pass is available for $99, while children 6-12 are admitted for $10 every day. Additional VIP passes are currently still available.
