The nation’s capital will soon be filled with comics and pop culture fans for Awesome Con. The annual convention will take place on June 16-18, 2017 at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center, 801 Mt Vernon Pl NW, Washington, DC.

Celebrity guests include David Tennant, Billie Piper, and Catherine Tate (Doctor Who), Felicia Day (The Guild), Clare Kramer (Buffy the Vampire Slayer), Khary Payton and Cooper Andrews (The Walking Dead), Count Gore De Vol (horror host), Eliza Dushku (Dollhouse), Garrett Wang (Star Trek: Voyager), Jason David Frank (Mighty Morphin Power Rangers), John Barrowman (Torchwood), Kel Mitchell (Kenan & Kel), Phil LaMarr (Futurama), Zoie Palmer and Rachel Skarsten (Lost Girl), Sean Schemmel (Dragon Ball Z), and Wil Wheaton (Star Trek: The Next Generation).

The con runs Friday 12 PM to 8 PM, Saturday 10 AM to 7 PM, and Sunday 10 AM to 5 PM.

The three-day pass is $75, Friday is $35, Saturday is $45, and Sunday is $35, plus several VIP packages.
