Syracuse are you ready for a weekend centered around toys, games, cosplay, collectibles, and comics? Well get ready, Salt City Comic-Con is headed your way on June 24-25, 2017, located at the Oncenter on 800 South State Street in Syracuse, New York.
Featured guests attending the convention include Neal Adams (Batman), Nalini Krishan (Star Wars Attack of the Clones), illusionist Kyle Marlett, and cosplayers Monika Lee and Matt Bell a/k/a Martt McFly. Additional guests attending are Graham Nolan (Detective Comics), Joe Rubinstein (Wolverine), Mike Garland (The Violent), Ray McCarthy (The Adventures of Superman), Chris Giarrusso (Mini-Marvels), Tom Peyer (Adventure Comics), Mike Gold (Legends), Craig Yoe (Super Weird Heroes), Charles Barnett III (Captain America), cosplayers UbersCosplay and Alyssa Kind, as well as wrestling legends Robbie E, Sgt. Slaughter, Ted DiBiase, Fred Ottman, Brian Blair, Bobby Fulton, Leilani Kai, Judy Martin, Dangerous Danny Davis, Chris Cruz, and James Cottrell.
Not only will Salt City Comic-Con be hosting the Mandalorian Mercs but they will also have photo-ops available with The Ghostbusters Ecto-1, Back to the Future Delorean, and the 1966 Batmobile. There will also be a large designated area for kids’ activities, hosted by various characters perfect for ages 2-12. The Rochester video game cover band GLITCH, will be performing live throughout the convention. Hermes Press will be offering exclusive variants of The Complete Jim Aparo Charlton Phantom and The Art of Jim Davis Garfield. As well as a variant of Adams Batman/TMNT Adventures, available exclusively at this show.
The con is running Saturday 11 AM to 6 PM and Sunday 11 AM to 5 PM. One-day passes are $14 for Saturday and $9 for Sunday. Children 5-12 are admitted for $7.50 on Saturday and $4.50 on Sunday. An adult weekend pass is available for $19, while a child’s weekend pass is $8.50. VIP packages are currently available as well.
