South Florida’s large comic con is almost here! Florida Supercon is taking place on July 27-30, 2017 at the Greater Fort Lauderdale Convention Center on 1950 Eisenhower Boulevard in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

In addition to various panels and workshops, Florida Supercon will also be hosting the Geek Film Festival as well as a Troma Fan Film Contest. In the gaming room not only can attendees play tournaments on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Wii U, Xbox 360, and PlayStation 3, but NES, Sega Genesis, Super Nintendo, N64, Dreamcast, and Gamecube. They will also have a Virtual Reality Demo area where you can try VR sets like the HTC Vive, Virtuix Omni, and Samsung Gears. Not to mention the annual Cosplay Contest and photo shoots.

The con is running Thursday 1:30 PM to 1 AM, Friday 10:30 AM to 1 AM, Saturday 10:30 AM to 2 AM and Sunday 10:30 AM to 8 PM. One-day passes are $25 for Thursday, $35 for Friday, $45 for Saturday and $40 for Sunday. Children ages 4-9 are admitted free on Thursday and Friday, $8 for Saturday and $3 for Sunday. A full weekend pass is available for $85.
