Are you ready Chicago? Wizard World is bringing the heat on August 24-27, 2017 at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center, located at 5555 North River Road in Rosemont, Illinois.

While Wizard World Chicago has already unveiled their extensive guest list, they have chosen to keep their programming a secret. At least for now. One event they have revealed is the annual Wizard World Costume Contest. This contest, taking place on Saturday, is hosted by Victor Dandridge and Brit Bliss and offers fans the chance to win some major prizes. Another event they have listed is the Rocky Horror Picture Show Extravaganza. Original cast member Barry Bostwick will host this special event along with a display of original props and costumes from the movie. Be sure to check the website for programming updates as the convention draws closer.

The con is running Thursday 4 PM to 9 PM, Friday 12 PM to 7 PM, Saturday 10 AM to 7 PM, and Sunday 10 AM to 5 PM. One-day passes are $40 for Thursday, $50 for Friday, $60 for Saturday and $50 for Sunday. A full weekend pass is available for $94, while children 10 and under are admitted for free with an adult. VIP packages are also currently available.
