Michigan residents, have you been searching for an epic family friendly convention dedicated to all things pop culture? Well you’re in luck, Redford Comic Con is heading your way on August 12, 2017. The one-day only convention is taking place at the Redford Aldersgate United Methodist Church on 10000 Beech Daly in Redford, Michigan.

Special guests attending the show include Jason Moore and Mark Boodworth (Caliber), Ralph Griffith (Arrow), Jessica Kobe and Mike Wooley (Melting Wax), and freelance artists Dew Magick, Deanna Sparkles, Jon Tucker, and Rachel Carroll. Along with publishers Caliber Comics, No-Gravity Studios and Source Point Press, Staunch Ambition, Cromwell Green and artisans Creations by Danielle, Turtles Trinkets, Wholihans Wares, Asylum Beverages, Cobble Scobble, Johnny B, Gamer Toyz, and Scarebears. The Detroit Ghostbusters will also be making a special appearance at the show.

In addition to the guests, Redford Comic Con will also feature an extensive selection of Silver, Bronze, and Modern Age comics. The con will also have vintage and modern toys, action figures, comic book supplies, and so much more. Throughout the day, awesome door prizes will also be offered to attendees. At 3 PM, an exciting cosplay contest will take place during the show. As their website suggests Redford Comic Con is “big enough to have it all, small enough to see it all.”
