Things are about to get spooky in Lexington, Kentucky when The Scarefest comes to town. The event will be held on September 29 through October 1, 2017 at the Lexington Convention Center at 430 W. Vine Street.

Nightmare on Elm Street series guests are Robert Englund, Amanda Wyss, Ronee Blakely, Brooke Bundy, Tuesday Knight, Lisa Wilcox, Danny Hassel, Andras Jones, Joann Willett, and Ricky Dean Logan.

Guests include Barry Bostwick (The Rocky Horror Picture Show), R.A. Mihailoff (Leatherface: Texas Chainsaw Massacre III), Kane Hodder (Friday the 13th Part 7-10), Bill Corbett and mary Jo Pehl (Mystery Science Theater 3000), John Kassir (Tales from the Crypt), Denise Crosby (Pet Sematary), Dee Wallace (Cugo), Doyle and Marky Ramone (Misfits), plus ghost hunters like Amy Allan, Ghost Brothers, Amy Bruni, and Adam Berry.

Other events include a midnight movie showing, kids events, and a blood drive.

The con runs Friday 5 PM to 9 PM, Saturday 11 AM to 9 PM, and Sunday 11 AM to 4 PM, plus VIP admission gets attendees in an hour early each day.

Admission on Friday is $20, Saturday is $25, Sunday is $15, and the three-day pass is $50, plus there are several VIP packages.
