Are you ready New York? The 2017 New York Comic Con (NYCC) is heading your way on October 5-8, 2017, located at the Javits Center on 655 West 34th Street.

While NYCC has yet to reveal the full program schedule of panels and screenings, they have announced a few exciting plans. Ahead of the four-day show, an LGBT “We The Heroes Ball” is taking place on October 2, followed by Adult Swim On The Green on October 3. On October 4, The Way Station is hosting a Doctor Who Costume and Trivia Contest, while the New York Philharmonic will be performing a Star Wars Film Concert series on October 4-7. NYCC covers everything from comics and TV to movies, toys, video games, cosplay, anime, and manga. The show will also feature a Family HQ, cosplay contest, charity art auction, gaming station, and so much more. As the convention draws closer, more information will be added to the convention’s website.
The show is running Thursday through Saturday from 10 AM to 8 PM and Sunday 10 AM to 5 PM. One-day passes for Friday to Sunday are all sold out, while tickets for Thursday are currently still available for $45. Children 5 and under are admitted to NYCC free of charge. NYCC is once again requiring Fan Verification in order to buy a 2017 ticket.
