MAGfest, the music and gaming festival, will once again take over the Gaylord National Harbor Resort in National Harbor, Maryland for four days of – what else – gaming and music. Taking place on January 4-7, 2018, this serves as the flagship event for MAGFest, which has since expanded to include smaller shows such as MAGWest and MAGLabs.

Guests that have been announced so far include voice actor Wes Johnson (The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, Fallout 3), Undertale artist Temmie Chang, award-winning composer Darren Korb (Bastion, Transistor, Pyre), and prolific composer and voice actor Alexander Brandon (Unreal Tournament, Deus Ex). Musical guests this year include Cowabunga Pizza Time, Delorean Overdrive, Hyper Potions, Kirby’s Dream Band, Magic Hammer, Powerglove, Rare Candy, and many others. There will also be the Sonic Adventure Music Experience, featuring series composer Jun Senoue.

On the gaming front, attendees will be able to take advantage of two massive rooms packed to the brim with consoles and arcade cabinets, plus a separate equally-impressive tabletop gaming area. There’s also a dealers hall and artist alley for those looking to do a little shopping during the weekend.
