On Sunday, June 24, 2018, Lake Effect Comic Con will be held at the Holiday Inn East/Mentor at Reynolds Road SR 306, Mentor, Ohio. Their ninth annual event will host vendors selling vintage comics and collectibles, creators will be there to meet fans, and there will be a costume contest.

Dealers set for the show are Adam’s Action Figures & Comics, All American Comics, Bills Books and More, Cards Comics and Collectibles, Comic Heaven, Creative Imaginations, Dwayne Angel, John Haines Rare Comics, New Dimension Comics, Our Gang Comics and Toys, Robot Zero, Terry’s Comics, and US Anime Direct.

Creators on hand include Caleb Thusat, Chris Lambert, Craig Tucker, Dan Gorman, David Kemp, Dirk Manning, Gary Dumm, Hometown Media Productions, Jacqueline Burrill/Nishi Studios, Jason Liccardi, Love4Legos Jewelry Design, Mike Gustovich, Paul Farris, Sam Fox, Scott Rudge, and Wake Baskey.

The one-day con runs from 10 AM to 5 PM. Tickets for adults are $8 and kids under 13 years of age get in for free. More details can be found on their Facebook page and at comicsandfriends.org.
