The nightmare before Halloween is returning to Minnesota for its 13th year! Crypticon is taking place on October 26-28, 2018 at the Hilton Minneapolis/St. Paul Airport Mall of America on 3800 American Boulevard in East Bloomington, Minnesota. 

Special guests attending the show include Casper Van Dien, Dina Meyer, and Jake Busey (Starship Troopers), Marshall Bell (A Nightmare on Elm Street 2: Freddy’s Revenge), Shawnee Smith (Saw), Lee Majors (Ash vs the Evil Dead), Spencer Wilding (The Wolfman), Mark Dodson (Gremlins), Zach Ward (Freddy vs Jason), Charles Band (The Puppet Master), Robin Sydney (Evil Bong), Chris Mulkey (Twin Peaks), Craig Muckler (Microwave Massacre), Christopher R. Mihm (The Giant Spider), Troy Holbrock (House of the Witchdoctor), and Cryptosis Professor Varnus Lupescu (America’s Pitchman). 

While Crypticon has offered a look at their guest list, they have chosen to keep their program guide under wraps. At least for now. In the weeks leading up to the show, Crypticon will add their full program guide to the show’s website. 

The con is running nearly continuously beginning on Friday at 5 PM through Sunday at 5 PM. One-day passes are $22 for Friday, $32 for Saturday, and $17 for Sunday. A full weekend pass is available for $50, while a standard VIP pass is available for $70. Kids 12 and under are admitted for free and parking at the show is also free.
