The Philly Non-Sports Card Show is returning to the Merchants Square Mall, located at 1901 S. 12th Street, Allentown, PA on October 20-21, 2018. The show has been running continuously since the 1980s, featuring everything from Ant-Man and Arrow to X-Files and X-Men.

This event will pay tribute to the parody trading card series Garbage Pail Kids and Wacky Packages. Artists Tom Bunk, Layron DeJarnette, David Gross, Smokin’ Joe, Chad Scheres, and Joe Simko who all worked on both series will be exhibiting. Two free exclusive parody promotional cards have been created for the show, which include “Toser the Destructor” the Ghostbusters-inspired take on the show promoter and her two dogs by Brent Engstrom and a Horrible Kids Series 4 card by Mark Pingitore. Other promotional giveaway cards will come from companies like Cryptozoic Entertainment, Iconic Creations, Iron Dead Studios, MNS Cards, and Perna Studios.

Birmingham Auctioneers will hold an auction on Saturday night at the nearby Lou Ramos Center with hundreds of lots of cards from 1908 to 2015. The six exhibiting artists will participate in a panel on Sunday and Lelands will also be on-hand to accept consignments for upcoming auctions.

Single day admission is $8 and two-day pass is $14. The show will be open on Saturday from 10 AM to 5 PM and Sunday from 10 AM to 3 PM. More details can be found at phillynon-sportscardshow.com.
