On December 8, 2018, shake off the winter blues at the inaugural Ocean City Comic Con. This pop culture event centered around artists, comics, cosplay, video games and more is taking place at the Roland E. Powell Convention Center on 4001 Coastal Highway in Ocean City, Maryland. 

Special guests, artists, and vendors attending the show include The 501st Legion Old Line Garrison, Alicia’s Anime, Anthony Kirtsos Jr., The Art of Philip McNulty, Bear Man Comics, Beth Chaffey, Candy Corpse, Cathy Wilkins, Coldstream Studios, DarkCity Creations, Dexter Weeks, Eastern Shore Ghostbusters, The Fairy Oddmother, Faux Paw Fur, Gamecore Store, Geek Emporium, Jason Wharton Art, John L. French, Katie Coe Cosplay, Leah Williams, Marvelous Designs, Matthew Stawicki, Mid-Atlantic Collector’s Corp, Nova Designs, Ocean City Center for the Arts, Peach Tree Dreamer Fandom Candles, Phoenix Rising Games and Comics, Red Hot Gal’s Boutique, Ryan Browne/Zombiepetz, Shazam Comics and Toys, Space Cadet Collective, Tom’s Toys and Comics, Twilite Zone Comics, Underground Comixxx, Unexpected Spark Studios and The Wizard and The Metalsmith. 

Throughout the one day show, attendees can browse through a wide selection of vendor tables and a decked out artists alley. There will also be a variety of panels and workshops hosted during the day, including several on cosplay, anime and comics. Ocean City Comic Con has also partnered with the Delaware Anime Society to offer Anime screenings all day long. Cosplayers have the chance to show off their talents in the Cosplay Contest for the chance to win a huge assortment of prizes. 

The show is running Saturday 10 AM to 5 PM. General admission is $8 at the door, payable only in cash, with children 9 and under admitted free with a paid adult.
