Kansas City’s largest comic book and pop culture convention is gearing up to celebrate its 20th anniversary. Planet Comicon is being held on March 29-31, 2019 at Bartle Hall on 301 West 13th Street in Kansas City, Missouri.

The Planet Entertainment Zone will return in 2019 with high energy activities, interactive displays and demos along with a cosplay oriented maker space. Along with various panels and workshops, Planet Comicon will also feature the Young Fans Cosplay Showcase and Masquerade Parade. The annual cosplay contest will offer attendees the chance to win major prizes, bragging rights and the coveted Planet trophy.
The con is running Friday 1 PM to 8 PM, Saturday 10 AM to 7 PM, and Sunday 10 AM to 5 PM. One-day adult passes are $27 for Friday, $44 for Saturday, and $33 for Sunday. A youth pass (8-12) is available for $8 on Friday and $12 on Saturday. An adult three-day pass is available for $173, while a three-day youth pass is available for $20.
