The Comic Book Club of Ithaca is presenting the 44th edition of the long-running convention on March 23-24, 2019. Ithacon is being held in the Emerson Suites at Ithaca College on 953 Danby Road in Ithaca, New York. 

Featured guests attending the pop culture event include Walter Simonson (Manhunter, Thor), marking his first time back to Ithacon since 1998, and Louise Simonson (Superman: Man of Steel, X-Factor). They’ll also host award-winning YA fantasy writer Tamora Pierce (Song of the Lioness, Protector of the Small). Syracuse publisher, AHOY Comics, will also be represented at Ithacon by comic editor Tom Peyer, CCO Frank Cammuso, Jamal Igle and Joe Orsak (The Wrong Earth).

Additional guests include Tim McCormack (Star Trek: The Next Generation), J.G. Hertzler (Star Trek: Deep Space Nine), David Gerrold (Babylon 5), Bill Anderson (The Silver Surfer), Maegan Cook (Secret Gold), Storn Cook (Hero Games), Steve Ellis (Black Kiss), Warren Greenwood (Care Bears), Jon Haeffner (Alien Dawn), Kevin Lucia (Mystery Road), Paul Smith (Jason and the Draconauts), Roger Stern (Spider-Man Omnibus), and Ken Wheaton (Mr. Magoo’s Christmas Carol). 

A primary focus of the con will be on The Twilight Zone. Celebrating the groundbreaking TV show’s 60th anniversary, through Ithaca College’s connection to creator Rod Serling, Ithacon will present his archives at the event.
