The 19th installment of the Windy City Pulp and Paper Convention is coming up soon on April 12-14, 2019. The pulp, paperback, original art, movie memorabilia, and science fiction event will be held at the Westin Lombard Yorktown Center at 70 Yorktown Center, Lombard, IL.

There will be an art room and con suite open throughout the weekend, plus panel discussions. They’ll host the Pulp Factory Awards, Estate Auction, art show, and new pulp panel and readings. More on the Estate Auction can be found elsewhere in Scoop.

The film festival will show The Nervous Wreck, The Shadow serial, Texas Trail, The Leopard Man, High Tide, The Sin of Nora Moran, Fast and Loose, and Cherokee Strip.

The dealer room will be open Friday 11 AM to 5 PM, Saturday 10 AM to 5 PM, and Sunday 10 AM to 4 PM. The full con schedule and event times, plus other details can be found on the Windy City Pulp and Paper Convention website.
