New Jersey natives, are you ready for a weekend full of pop culture fun? Garden State Comic Fest is heading your way on June 29-30, 2019. The show is being held at the Mennen Arena on 161 East Hanover Avenue in Morristown, New Jersey. 

Special guests attending the show include Erica Durance (Smallville), Roy Thomas (Captain Marvel), Michael Bell (Super Friends), Alan Oppenheimer (He-Man Masters of the Universe), Greg Hildebrandt (Star Wars: A New Hope poster), Joe Jusko (Marvel Masterpieces), Ash Maczko and Ashley Witter (Squarriors), Tom Cook (Scooby-Doo), Nelson DeCastro (The Inhumans), Jim Balent (Catwoman), Holly G. (Josie and the Pussycats), Will Rosado (Green Arrow), Budd Root (Cavewoman: Jungle Tales), Joe Staton (Justice Society of America), Tom Palmer (Doctor Strange), Jan Duursema (Star Wars), Chris Batista (Aquaman), Buzz (Vampirella), Tom Mandrake (The Spectre), Tom Raney (X-Men), Billy Tucci (Shi), Bob Sharen (Captain America), Jeff Kline (G.I. Joe: Renegades), Bob Almond (Infinity Watch), Stan Konopka (The Rejected), Reilly Brown (Incredible Hercules), and more! Cosplayers Steampunk’d Batman, Father Evil, Sleazy P. Martini, Balsac the Jaws of Death, Sawborg Destructo, Kelciumchloride, Kati Coe, Legion of Super Villains, and DC Cosplayers East will also be in attendance. 

During the comic and creator focused convention, fans can enjoy great vendors, artists, guests, panels, workshops, and cosplay. Along with informative panels and a large Artists Alley, the show will also feature the Garden State Cosplay Showdown. Another highlight to this show is the Kids Comic Con area, where all weekend long kids can go to enjoy creative workshops on making comic strips, drawing cartoon characters, or even learning to be a puppeteer. The full program guide will be added to the show’s website as the con draws closer.  

The show is running Saturday 10 AM to 6 PM and Sunday 10 AM to 5 PM. One-day passes are $25 for Saturday and $20 for Sunday. A two-day pass is available for $40 with children 11 and under admitted for free with a paid adult. VIP passes are also currently available.
