IDW Publishing and Dark Horse Comics have joined forces to present a crossover sure to please fans of science fiction and horror. The cast of Star Trek: The Next Generation will have an encounter with the Xenomorphs of the Alien franchise in a crossover miniseries, to be published by IDW.

The series, titled Star Trek: The Next Generation-Aliens: Acceptable Losses, will debut in April 2017. It will be written by Scott and David Tipton with art by J.K. Woodward, the trio behind previous Star Trek: The Next Generation crossovers for the company.

“We’re beyond excited to team up with Dark Horse for this unique miniseries,” IDW Editor Chris Cerasi said. “With Scott and David writing and J.K. handling art, the blending of the Star Trek and Aliens worlds is guaranteed to be a fun, scary, thrill-a-minute ride!”
