The short story “One of Those Days,” which originally appeared in Cthulhu Tales #6 has been adapted into a short film. Blending technology with science fiction, horror, and a bit of fantasy, the story follows an IT guy through a very bad day.

Based on the BOOM! Studios story written by Glen Cadigan with art by Chee, the short film Eldritch Code was adapted by Swedish director Ivan Radovic. After reading the story, Radovic reached out to writer Glen Cadigan, who got in touch with former editor Mark Waid, who contacted BOOM! to get permission for the project.

“Ivan exceeded all my expectations,” Cadigan commented on seeing his story adapted on film. “I was very gratified to see my story come to life, especially since it was actually my first comics sale, so I have a very strong sentimental attachment to it.”

Co-produced by Ritualen and BOOM!, the short film has been touring film festivals over the last year. After attending 30 events in 14 countries, across 4 continents, it was recently released online and can be viewed below.
