Denver Broncos and Carolina Panthers fans may be still debating which team is better, but there’s no contest that superheroes and pop culture characters shined during the commercial breaks. Super Bowl commercials have become their own shows – for some people they are the reason to tune into the big game. This year some of our favorite characters helped to sell products in between snaps, first downs, and field goals.

Coca-Cola: Coke Mini (Hulk vs. Ant-Man): Forget Civil War, these are the Coke wars! Coca-Cola's ad featured both ends of the hero spectrum with Hulk and Ant-Man battling for the last mini Coke.

Ryanville: What better way to bring attention to the new Hyundai Elantra than with an entire town made up of Ryan Reynolds? The Deadpool star can make even the suburbs look good.
