Deadline has just released an exclusive first look at the upcoming documentary, Neil Gaiman: Dream Dangerously. The film chronicles Gaiman's childhood in Portsmouth, UK to his success with comic series, The Sandman, as well as his more recent works including Coraline and The Graveyard Book.

Not only was Gaiman the first author to win both the Newbery and Carnegie medals for one work, but his novel The Ocean at the End of the Lane was voted Book of the Year in the British National Book Awards.

The story is told through Gaiman himself, as well as interviews with close friends and collaborators such as Terry Pratchett (The Colour of Magic), Bill Hader (SNL), Michael Sheen (Masters of Sex), Lenny Henry, Lev Grossman (The Magicians), Wil Wheaton (Star Trek: The Next Generation), Stoya (Blossom), J.H. Williams III (The Sandman: Overture), Brea Grant (Heroes), Merrilee Heifetz (Writers House), Charles Brownstein (CBLDF), Sam Kieth (The Maxx), and Jill Thompson and Colleen Doran (The Sandman).

The documentary also features Gaiman's conversations with George R.R. Martin (Game of Thrones), Jonathan Ross (Friday Night with Jonathan Ross), John Barrowman (Torchwood), Grant Morrison (Wonder Woman: Earth One), and Phillip Pullman (His Dark Materials).
