The costumes in superhero movies have become very important to the story. The hero needs to look cool yet appropriate to the source material, and formidable yet attractive. What those movies don’t explain is how the newly minted superhero has advanced sewing skills.

On May 20, 2017, during his fifth time hosting Saturday Night Live, Dwayne Johnson performed a skit with some of the ladies of SNL in which he was the superhero, Scorpio. While danger threatens the city, he discusses the finer points of his costume and details on creating the impressive piece with a group of ladies at the office.
