After decades of globetrotting, rock legend Bruce Springsteen is officially heading for Broadway this fall. During an eight-week period, Springsteen will perform renditions of his arena rock sets at the Walter Kerr Theatre on 218 West 48th Street in New York.

Performance and ticket sales dates are currently pending, but sources have confirmed that Springsteen will appear five nights a week for “more intimate” engagements. Following his 2016 tour, Springsteen reportedly “wants to play a smaller house” and “try something more intimate.” Without a doubt, Bruce on Broadway is sure to be a once-in-a-lifetime sensation.

Looking for a way to enjoy musical legends now? Well you’re in luck, Hake’s Americana & Collectibles Auction #221 is open for bidding. A major spotlight to this auction is the Nirtilos Collection. Over the course of his career, Nirtilos has worked in the television, music, and sports industry. Throughout this time, he has been awarded seven Emmy Awards, numerous gold and platinum awards, Broadcast Designer Association Awards, and local/national Art Directors club awards. His personal collection features memorabilia from musicians, celebrities, and even sports stars.

Highlighted in musical memorabilia is a Columbia Records sales awards display for Springsteen's seventh studio album, Born In The U.S.A. This display features a red and white stripe design from the LP cover and includes a platinum record, cassette and CD, as well as an album cover image. The plate on this fine piece reads, “Presented To Vinyl Vendors In Celebration Of Sales Of 20 Million Copies Of ‘Born In The U.S.A.’”

They also have a deep framed display for the 4X Platinum sales award for Led Zeppelin's 2007 greatest hits compilation album, Mothership. Featured on this exceptional display are three platinum records with two album covers at left and right. The plexiglas cover has reverse-painted the name Led Zeppelin and the Mothership zeppelin image for a 3D effect. The bottom strip reads, “Presented To Larry Solitrin To Commemorate Worldwide Sales Of Over 4,000,000 Copies Of The Atlantic/Swan Song CD And Digital Release ‘Mothership.’”

A Double Platinum RIAA sales award for Aerosmith's eleventh studio album, Get A Grip, is also offered. This bestselling album, which sold over 20 million copies, also had two songs win Grammy Awards in 1993 and 1994. The elaborate design features “Multi-Platinum Sales Award” cassette tape and CD, an RIAA hologram strip plate, and reverse-painted thumbprints for 3D effect. Printed on the RIAA strip is: "Presented To Larry Solitrin To Commemorate The Sales Of More Than 2,000,000 Copies Of The Geffen Records Cassette And C.D. ‘Get A Grip.’”

Hake’s is also selling an RIAA Gold Record sales award for The Roots’ breakthrough album, Things Fall Apart. The display features a black and white photo, one of the five covers, taken during a riot in the Civil Rights Movement era. The remaining four covers are mounted below the CD, above the RIAA hologram strip plate. This plate reads, “Presented To Larry Solitrin To Commemorate RIAA Certified Sales Over 500,000 Copies Of The Roots Album ‘Things Fall Apart.’”

Also featured is a Platinum RIAA sales award for No Doubt's fifth studio album, Rock Steady. This cool display features the text-only album cover with the platinum record at top center. It also includes the “No Doubt” and “Rock Steady” labels, as well as an RIAA hologram strip plate. This reads, “Presented To Larry Solitrin To Commemorate RIAA Certified Platinum Sales Of More Than 1,000,000 Copies Of The Interscope Records Album, Cassette And C.D. ‘Rock Steady.’”
