During Comic-Con Interational 2017, Titan Comics and Harmony Gold will debut their new ongoing Robotech comic series. This highly anticipated series will feature a special convention cover by British Award-winning artist Rachael Stott (Doctor Who).

Robotech, produced by Harmony Gold USA in 1985, served as the gateway to anime for many U.S. fans. The epic 85-episode series followed humanity’s struggle against a series of alien invasions. From the gigantic Zentraedi to the mysterious Invid, Earth was forced into a battle for control of advanced alien technology. Overflowing with war, and romance, and action, the series quickly became a cult smash.

Robotech #1 offers a fresh look at classic characters like Rick Hunter, Lisa Hayes, Lynn Minmei, Roy Fokker, Claudia Grant, and Henry Gloval. Writer Brian Wood, artist Marco Turini, and colorist Marco Lesko have created a thrilling new tale that’s perfectly accessible to new fans, while providing a deeper layer of twists for old school addicts.

The special edition issue of Robotech #1, with cover art by Stott, will be available to purchase at Titan booth 5537 at Comic-Con in San Diego. Fans will also have the opportunity to meet Harmony Gold’s Tommy Yune at Titan booth 5537 who will be signing copies of his special Blue Line Veritech sketch variant on July 22 at 1 PM.
