Comic Trips, the YouTube webseries that explores geek-tastic, nerd culture collecting, is getting ready to launch their eighth season on Monday, July 24, 2017. Made by collectors, for collectors, Comic Trips follows the adventures of Kat and Paul Brown as they travel around the U.S. (particularly in the northeast), to find pop culture collectibles.

The Browns collect comics, toys, movie memorabilia, and more, with particular love of Star Wars and all things geeky and nerdy from the 1970s to early 2000s. So far, they have produced 70 episodes of the web series.

They have self-shot, produced, edited, and marketed Comic Trips since their pop culture loving journey began in March 2015. With the eighth season on the horizon, they hope to illustrate how to collect on a budget and occasionally splurge.

In webisode 67, Comic Trips ventured out to York, PA to visit Hake’s Americana & Collectibles. Based on their shared love for all things pop culture collecting, Hake’s has jumped on board as an official sponsor for season eight. “Hake’s Americana & Collectibles is the undisputed name in pop culture auctions, and that’s coming from our mouths,” said a statement on the Comic Trips Facebook page. “Just wait until you see what we show you in season 8 that’s coming to auction this fall.”

“Hake’s is thrilled to sponsor this season of Comic Trips,” Hake’s President Alex Winter said. “Paul and Kat are kindred spirits with everyone at Hake’s. I always thought the passion and enthusiasm for all things regarding pop culture collectibles was unmatched by Hake’s staff but I have been proven wrong by the Dynamic Duo of YouTube. If you have not taken a comic trip with them yet, do so ASAP. You won’t be disappointed.”

Webisode 71 will be available at 12:01 AM featuring Paul and Kat’s first international comic trip.
