Dark Horse Comics announced plans to release a deluxe hardcover edition of Neil Gaiman’s acclaimed, Only the End of the World Again. This Lovecraftian tale blends the two worlds of H.P. Lovecraft and Roger Zelazny into one exceptional adventure. The story follows a claims adjuster in Innsmouth, Massachusetts, who discovers that the world is ending. The instrument of destruction? A werewolf, which he just so happens to be.

This new hardcover edition – based on a short story by Gaiman (American Gods) – is being adapted to comics by writer P. Craig Russell (The Graveyard Book), with illustrations by Troy Nixey (The Black Sinister), and colors by Matthew Hollingsworth (Wytches). Currently, Russell also adapts Gaiman’s classic American Gods into a comic series at Dark Horse. Featured on the edition is a new cover by Nixey and Hollingsworth, along with bonus material such as high resolution scans of the inks and layouts.

This is the latest Gaiman offering from Dark Horse, joining Forbidden Brides, Troll Bridge, and How to Talk to Girls at Parties – soon to be a motion picture.

Only the End of the World Again will be available beginning on January 24, 2018. It is currently available for preorder on Amazon, TFAW, and at your local comic shop. Visit DarkHorse.com for more information.
