DC recently announced a new Sandman Universe banner kicking off in August 2018 with the one-shot The Sandman Universe #1. Along with this special led by Neil Gaiman and four collaborators, this banner is launching four all-new ongoing series. Based in the same continuity, each series will feature a creative team personally selected by Gaiman. 

In addition to the writers and artists working on each title, Inverse revealed previews of the first issues. Written by Si Spurrier (Angelic) with art by Bilquis Evely (Wonder Woman), The Dreaming spins directly out of the events of The Sandman with the newest Dream of the Endless reluctant to take the throne out in September.

House of Whispers is led by writer Nalo Hopkinson (Brown Girl in the Ring) with art by Dominike “Domo” Stanton (DMC) and sees the titular mystical House collide with the Dreaming and the Houses of Secrets and Mystery out in September.

Brothers Max and Sebastian Fiumara (Four Eyes) provider the art for writer Dan Watters (Limbo) led Lucifer. This series follows the new adventures of former Lord of Hell Lucifer Morningstar and hits shelves in October.

Books of Magic written by Kat Howard (An Unkindness of Magicians) with art by Tom Fowler (Rick and Morty) centers around the teenage Timothy Hunter as he comes to terms with his magical birthright, out in October.
