Telltale Games’ critically-acclaimed narrative video game series, The Walking Dead, will begin its final season of storytelling when the first episode of The Walking Dead: The Final Season debuts on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One on August 14, 2018.

The Final Season will also be coming to the Nintendo Switch console at a later date in 2018.

According to the official season description, “Clementine, now a fierce and capable survivor, has reached the final chapter in her journey. After years on the road facing threats both living and dead, a secluded school might finally be her chance for a home. But protecting it will mean sacrifice. Clem must build a life and become a leader while still watching over A.J., an orphaned boy and the closest thing to family she has left. In this gripping, emotional final season, you will define your relationships, fight the undead, and determine how Clementine’s story ends.”

Telltale’s The Walking Dead series has sold more than 50 million episodes worldwide and has won numerous awards, including two BAFTA Video Games Awards for Best Story.
