Tom Holland debuted the first official look at the brand-new costume he’ll be sporting in Spider-Man: Far From Home on the October 18, 2018 episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live! in a surprise appearance. The red-and-black suit had been seen in photos snapped from the set and posted online in recent weeks, but this in-character appearance marks its first official recognition.

The quick bit on Kimmel featured Holland (as Peter Parker) squaring off with Kimmel’s sidekick Guillermo, who had swiped Spidey’s mask. Though Kimmel tried to get some info as to whether or not Far From Home would be a prequel or sequel to Infinity War, Holland remained tight-lipped and removed himself from the conversation in order to allegedly stop Thanos from robbing a bank.

Spider-Man: Far From Home is set to hit theaters in July 2019 – two months after the sequel to Infinity War.
