Blizzard’s classic Diablo series will be heading to mobile platforms with the debut of Diablo Immortal, which was announced at Blizzcon. The game is being built in a joint effort between Blizzard and Netease Games, and is set between Diablo 2 and Diablo 3.
The story is supposed to focus on what happened to the world after Tyrael shattered the world stone. Immortal is to be a fully-fledged Diablo experience, and will include multiplayer and most of the classes from Diablo 3 to choose from. At launch, the game will have eight different zones to explore, and content is expected to be added and updated on a regular basis.
